WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF YOUR WIDE HANDLES?

Our crochet hooks are designed to be extra comfortable to grip and hold, providing relief from any cramping or hand-strain that usually occurs when using standard thin crochet hooks. We carve them to be approximately 1/2-inch wide. The materials that we use: wood, dymondwood and acrylic also retain their warmth adding to their overall comfort. Many crocheters with chronic pain from arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, fybromyalgia or other conditions have praised our crochet hooks for their comfort and ease of use.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOUR CROCHET HOOKS AND HANDLES?

We offer 2 types of crochet hooks - fully carved crochet hooks which include a carved hook head, and carved handles with separate steel or aluminum hooks permanently inserted into our handles. We offer our fully carved crochet hooks in wood and dymondwood, and our handles in wood, dymondwood and acrylic gem.

WHAT TYPE OF MATERIAL IS DYMONDWOOD?

Dymondwood is a blend of wood and dyed resin that is super strong and smooth. We polish our Dymondwood hooks after they are hand-carved giving them an extra smooth and shiny finish. They will never chip, fade or rust!

WHAT TYPE OF MATERIAL IS ACRYLIC GEM?

Acrylic Gem is a shiny acrylic compound that is lightweight yet very strong. The handles we carve from the beautiful swirly acrylic gem are all one-of-a-kind and truly unique!

WILL THE HAND-PAINTED DESIGNS ON YOUR WOODEN HOOKS CHIP OR WEAR OFF?

No! We hand paint each design on your hook along with any custom wording, and then the hook receives 4 coats of durable gloss finish. The beautiful painting will never wear down or chip off!

HOW STRONG ARE YOUR WOODEN HOOKS?

Our wooden hooks are carved from hard woods - maple, cherry, walnut and mahogany, which are very strong and durable. The 4 coats of durable gloss also increase their strength.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY HOOK BREAKS?

We stand by our workmanship - if your hook ever breaks, please email us so we can arrange to ship your hook back to us (we will pay for the postage) and we will replace your hook at no charge. PLEASE NOTE: Your crochet hook should be used for normal crocheting only - not for prying something open or anything beyond normal use.
